Vancouver City Council supports GE awareness week October 20th

GE Free BC has had numerous discussions with Vancouver City Council and the Vancouver Food Policy Council over the last year or so about what Vancouver City can do to express its concerns about the spread of GE crops and animals.

So we are happy to announce that Vancouver City Council is sponsoring GE awareness week in Vancouver during the week of the October 20th. Please look out for and join us at the following events:

Mayor Robertson or Councillor Reimer will make a proclamation of GE awareness week at Whole Foods on Cambie.  We will keep you posted of the date and time and other events around the proclamation.

We will have a kick off dinner at Graze restaurant in Vancouver on the 2oth October at 6pm

We will have a Facebook Party on the 23rd October from 7pm to 9pm with lots of prizes
