Okanagan sommunities say no to GE crops

Two communities in the Regional District of the North Okanagan have said “keep Ge crops out” in their Official Community plans. That makes 13 Official Community Plans across the Province that have committed to try and stop GE crops. You can see the full list below.

  8. Crops need Phosphorus to grow and we need it from the crops. Currently this valuable mineral is mined to be used on crops but we are running out! This scientist has found that by adding mushrooms to the soil, plants can uptake phosphorus from the mushrooms.

    Who knew mushrooms were high in Phosphorus. Maybe we should be feeding them to cows?
