How bad is round up™ for your health?

A just published study synthesising about 300 research papers makes clear linkages between round up™ and the rise in a number of diseases. Like so many people now, the paper calls for proper independent testing of GE crops (as the only testing done right now is by Monsanto).

Glyphosate’s Suppression of Cytochrome P450 Enzymes and Amino Acid Biosynthesis by the Gut Microbiome: Pathways to Modern Diseases

“Consequences are most of the diseases and conditions associated with a Western diet, which include gastrointestinal disorders, obesity, diabetes, heart disease, depression, autism, infertility, cancer and Alzheimer’s disease. We explain the documented effects of glyphosate and its ability to induce disease, and we show that glyphosate is the “textbook example” of exogenous semiotic entropy: the disruption of homeostasis by environmental toxins.”

  1. And here is data from USDA and CDC on the increase in glyphosate use and these diseases in the U.S.:

  2. Roundup is a weed killer but don’t get caught up in that name because the chemical ingredient Glyphosate has many other brand names now. From my understanding it gets on the food crop itself when producers spray the weeds around it.

  3. Concious Living Radio has a program on GE foods etc. on May 22nd. You can listen via Vancouver Co Op Radio. I don’t know where to post this on this site and I’m surprised there’s no mention of it. I’ve emailed April Reeves a couple of times but never had a response. Hoping people see this.
