The Seattle Times published an article yesterday (March 20) about an apple called “Opal”, a cross between a Golden Delicious and a Topaz, that does not turn brown after cutting. This is what GMO apples are supposedly for. Why do we need a GMO apple if we can achieve what we want with conventional cross-breeding?
Thanks Nancy, could you send the link to this article? Then we can post it and use it in the campaign.
